Who we are
Pastor couple Jules & Lydia Wolff
As young adults, both of us experienced God's infinite Love by opening our hearts to Jesus. He pulled us out of a world of sin and impurity. We received forgiveness, redemption and a new life through the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. From then on, we have been allowed to grow through God's Word and through the guidance of God's Holy Spirit.
In 2017, God called us to lead the congregation, and on 28 April 2018, we were installed as the pastor-couple of Bethel Pentecostal Church Amsterdam. A close-knit team of workers supports and assists us in our work. However, Jesus is the great Shepherd of the congregation, and we are completely dependent on Him. He helps and leads us.
We desire to build God's house together with all the members of the congregation. The goal is to become part of the bride of Christ one day.
This is why spiritual growth and inner change mean so much to us, alongside the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that we are on our way to God's eternal glory as described in the Bible verses below.
Will you grow with us and follow Jesus, our good Shepherd? Everyone is welcome to join, especially if you long for a personal relationship with God.
Revelation 21:2-6
“And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither mourning, nor wailing, nor trouble shall be any more; for the first things are gone away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, It is come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to the thirsty from the fountain of the water of life for nothing.”
